On the morning of October 19th, the promotion meeting of the middle and basic through project of electromechanical technology application-vehicle engineering (urban rail transit vehicles) was successfully held in the College of Railway Transportation of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology. Wan Huilin, secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Railway Transportation, Luan Dongping, vice dean of the College of Railway Transportation, Liao Aihua, director of the Department of Vehicle Engineering, Weng Lin and Zhu Wenliang, vice directors of the Department of Vehicle Engineering, Zheng Shubin, president of the College of Higher Vocational Education, Yang Yang, director of the Office of the College of Higher Vocational Education, Zhang Rui, director of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, vice Director Ning Zongqi, Director of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering, and Xin Jianfeng attended the meeting. President Zheng Shubin explained the background of this middle-vocational through training and the current situation of talent training in urban rail transportation industry, and said that this middle-vocational through training is in line with the trend and promising, Secretary Wan said that this is an opportunity and a challenge, and will fully support and cooperate with the declaration of this middle-vocational through training profession. Afterwards, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on the talent training program, and finally reached an agreement and jointly formulated the talent training program.
In afternoon of October 19, Zhang Rui, Ning Zongqi and Xin Jianfeng went to Shanghai Communications Polytechnic to carry out professional research. Yan Guoqiang, director of Academic Affairs, introduced the professional construction of Communications Polytechnic in the direction of rail transportation and at the same time, shared his experience of the middle-virtual through-cultivation with the University of Applied Sciences in Shanghai, and then visited the Training base.
The base is designed according to the basic idea of "career guidance, ability progression, multi-post synergy". It includes 4 virtual simulation training areas, including urban rail transit operation management, communication signal, train driving and maintenance and traction power supply. With the superior real-time virtual technology, powerful interactivity, strong sense of immersion, creating an intuitive access to the "real subway" environment.
Through this professional construction research, it further strengthened the contact between the college, department and Communications Polytechnic, and provided new ideas for the department to standardize the management of practical teaching, promote the deep cooperation between schools and enterprises, and improve the professional talent training program.
