In recent years, the Basic Teaching Department has been committed to the work of Academic Proficiency Test, and aimed to enhance the teaching quality by improving students’ performance in Academic Proficiency Test. Thus, the Basic Teaching Department held the teaching and research activity with the Student Affairs Division about “2023 Academic Proficiency Test Sprint Mobilization Meeting” at 12:30 on October 23 in the Smart Room 211 of the Teaching Building. Xu Weiwen, director of the Student Affairs Division, Zhu Xiaofeng, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Division, leaders of the Basic Teaching Department, all the teachers in charge of 2023 Academic Proficiency Test and class teachers of Grade Two secondary vocational classes attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by He Bingjie, deputy dean of the Basic Teaching Department.
He Bingjie first summarized and analyzed the Academic Proficiency Test and the test results of our school over the years, and explained in detail the reform of question types that began last year. In addition, she also summarized and analyzed the learning situation, course progress and preliminary research. Then on this basis, she pointed out the problems and solutions in preparing for the exam from the aspects of students, teachers, class teachers, parents and schools.
Xu Weiwen, the director of the Student Affairs Division, proposed that the class teachers should work with the basic courses teaching, and put forward the direction of parents and schools to coordinate in managing students. Zhang Ke, the dean of the Basic Teaching Department expressed her gratitude to all the teachers, class teachers, Student Affairs Division and other departments of the school for their attention and support to the Academic Proficiency Test. In the new era, the Academic Proficiency Test is facing new challenges. In order to meet the needs of students for further study, promote the high-quality development of vocational education, and improve students’ cultural literacy, it is necessary for the Basic Teaching Department to gain support from all members, the Student Affairs Division, the Academic Affairs Division, and class teachers. Mobilize all staff to participate the coordination. Only in this way, can we win the battle with the Academic Proficiency Test. At last, Zhang introduced the idea of department’s later guidance work for students.
