From October 25 to 26, 2024, the digital design and manufacturing competition of the equipment manufacturing track of the 2024 World Vocational College Skills Competition Finals was held in Anhui Mechanical and Electrical Vocational Technical College, and a total of 62 participating teams from various provinces and cities across the country competed fiercely. Under the leadership of a team composed of Yang Mei, Li Ya and Wang Hao, four contestants from the Department of Manufacturing Engineering of the Vocational College of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, including Sun Jiaqi, Qu Jiale, Ji Chenhao and Cao Bin, won the Silver Prize with their clear explanation, standardized operation and strong ability to respond to the situation.
In the short 20-day preparation process, the student team of the Department of Manufacturing engineering learned from each other, helped each other, and worked together to solve problems. After several days and nights of hard work, they finally designed highly innovative and practical entries around the cutting-edge technology of digital design and manufacturing. In the course of the competition, the contestants demonstrated a high level of professionalism, innovation and teamwork spirit.
